Cadillac F1 CEO Dan Towriss told the media that the GM power unit “is ahead of schedule” and still expected to debut in 2029. He also said that he is “keeping a close eye” on possibly changing PU regulations.

Cadillac F1 test driver and F2 driver Colton Herta will not be able to compete in this year’s Indy 500 after Formula 2 added a race in Montreal for the same weekend. Cadillac F1 CEO Dan Towriss had previously said that his entry in this year’s Indy 500 was a possibility.
