If you're #2 OR I think #1 OR is literally the only person in the world you don't ask for transfer advice 😂
Æsel FC (Simon)@AeselFC
Did you know that FPL overall rank #2 DM’ed FPL OR #1 for transfer suggestions this week? 👀 Watch the stream - and the spicy final 15 minutes ⬇️ Always a pleasure, @FPLPhysioo, @FPL_Bronx, @TheFPLStudy

My biggest flex is sharing a birthday with the GOAT.
Mine isn't as cool as 100, but it's a day nonetheless! I think I'm officially 'pushing 30' now

Happy 100th birthday, Sir David Attenborough 🎉❤️ The broadcaster who changed how we see the natural world. #DavidAttenborough

@TomP1Bellingham 38th globally is insane👏T2 last place attempt is some commitment😂
English

@LukeFF1Fantasy @FTSY_Slipstream @ReinBerglund Yeah was just about to mention that its almost like same result, different packaging
English

@F1FantasyGavin @FTSY_Slipstream @ReinBerglund Perhaps it’s the same outcome ultimately but just a different angle.
English

An excellent point re #F1Fantasy. I shouldn't need to sell 60% of my drivers after one bad race for them!
Shiven Goberdan 🔰@ShivenGoberdan
@F_FantasyHub Again this is an another example of why #F1Fantasy for the past 2 seasons has been mehhh. This game is meant to be played for points not to build budget
English

@LukeFF1Fantasy @FTSY_Slipstream @ReinBerglund Team-wise it feels swingier though. With +5:
0 DNFs = +25
1 DNF = 0
So you lose 25 instead of just 20 to your competitors. Doesn’t that increase the variance or would you prefer it to be swingier like this?
English

@F1FantasyGavin @FTSY_Slipstream @ReinBerglund It’s not taking into account any of the budget mechanisms, just purely the addition of a new pts category for those that finish the race.
Has more positive effect on our fantasy ‘team’ to ‘get those pts back’ kinda. The pain of a DNF hits if there are 2 in your team who DNF.
English

@LukeFF1Fantasy @FTSY_Slipstream @ReinBerglund Really interesting idea mate, but if I understood this correctly won't this be more punishing for having a DNF?
English

@F1FantasyGavin @FTSY_Slipstream @ReinBerglund I’ve often thought the fix is to actually reward finishing the race. Imagine starting and finishing 15th and getting zero points but a 20th place who finishes 18th because of 2xDNF’s gets more points.
+5pts for each driver who sees the 🏁 = 1 DNF and 4 finishes is manageable.
English

@F_FantasyHub @ReinBerglund @FTSY_Slipstream 100% agree Rob. 2022 scoring felt cleaner and more strategic. The -10 DNF was harsh but fair, position caps stopped huge swings, and streak bonuses rewarded consistency.
The current scoring system gives Assistant Manager chip in FPL vibes 😂
Bring back simpler times @F1
English

@F1FantasyGavin @ReinBerglund @FTSY_Slipstream 2022 did that so well.
-10 for DNF, a max of +/- 10 positions in the race, no points for overtakes, points for beating your teammate in quali (+2) and the race (+5) and bonus points if you finished in the top 10 in five consecutive race/quali sessions.
Simple times 😂
English

@ReinBerglund @FTSY_Slipstream They should cap maximum positions gained at 10 as well to mirror the position change
English

@F1FantasyGavin @FTSY_Slipstream Ofc, just cap those at 10 and you're good (if the DNF penalty is -10)
With 22 cars on the grid, someone going from P1 to P22 loses more than a DNF anyway, same in sprints
English

@FTSY_Slipstream @ReinBerglund Totally agree the -20 DNF is too harsh but if they lower it, they’d also need to rework the positions gained/lost points otherwise there will be situations where you'll be hoping for a DNF rather than your driver finishing the race while losing positions
English

@ReinBerglund I've seen a few say the DNF penalty needs to be reduced and I agree. Take Gasly at Miami as an example. He's flipped by another car and gets a -20!
What would you suggest the penalty should be? -5? -10?
English

@MikaSharma7 Those are definitely the picks I'd go with if I was playing safe with budget
English

@F1FantasyGavin I used WC in Miami on one of my teams (other 2 were NN) and if you change ALB to PER for the Ferrari + McLaren team shown, that's what I'm aiming to run in Canada.
Over a sprint weekend, I like PER(-2pts), Ocon(4pts), BOR(5pts) and COL(6pts) to gain at least 0.2m each.
English

A bit of talk around using the wildcard in #F1Fantasy for Canada, so I thought I'd do a very quick draft on what I think will be the best teams based on Miami's results.
Sure, I'd love to have Mercedes instead of Ferrari but that would require using the Cadillac boys, who I'm...
English

@jasonshamblin @FanAmpFantasyHQ You're right Jason, he's been unlucky in the races but he's always qualified well in Canada so personally feel he should do well
English

@F1FantasyGavin @FanAmpFantasyHQ If I recall correctly, Albon hasn’t had a good Canada in a few years
Maybe he’s due for one?
English

🍁 Initial Thoughts for Canada 🍁
Sitting at $110.8M and I like the looks of this team:
☑️ Achievable in 2 moves, no Wildcard needed
☑️ Double Haas on a Sprint weekend
☑️ A fine team without Aston Martin or Cadillac
❌ Bearman on a sure $0.6M drop
❌ No Mercedes constructor
❌ Audi is a weekly DNF risk
This isn’t a half bad team for Monaco either 🤔

English

@eliaihab @LeapsFrog24 It'll be possible latest by Singapore... Probably earlier as budget building is easier this year
English

@ReinBerglund Surely that's just an easy swap to Bortoleto. Bottas also has an achievable target for budget gains
English

Teams are a🔒 for #F1Fantasy Spreading my eggs across all 3 teams. Expecting a really swingy week with huge gains if you get it right. NN will be a last minute decision

English

@RebeccaF1_FTSY Rank them all equally this week in terms of pace but historically Mclaren and Ferrari are better at pitstops so that edges it for me
English

@F1FantasyGavin No MER constructor for n any team? Is that budget related or choice?
English
