JN33rr: Yesterday was successful but ran out of daylight. Will try again later today but no promises. Fingers crossed. Again on .545 and I will try to centre myself mid bandpass. The delta-T is by manual offset. Sometimes challenging. Please bear with me. 🇲🇨 Monaco is the 2nd smallest country (after the Vatican). It is only 2km squared. It is the most densely populated country in the world and one of the wealthiest and most expensive. There is no income tax, wealth tax, annual property tax or council tax. Residents have the highest life expectancy at 86 years old. It has the highest real estate market values. One in three residents is a millionaire. It is safe and has more police per capita than any other country. The landscape is a mix of modern, medieval, vintage and Benidorm’esque architecture. I am on the southern side called The Rock. 🇪🇺 CEPT licences are valid but authorisation required by DPRN, with address and length of stay details. They are very efficient. Hello Viliam. In this case it is a private terrace. But yes sometimes difficult with public. I try and be an ambassador/spokesman for amateur radio. I give goodies with information. Cards, stickers, patches. I’ve been accused of spy stuff hi … in Baltic states and Scandinavia. It is normal as everyone is paranoid now. We must be completely transparent. My Twitter/X.com helps as I can show past activations. Just go out and do more roving Viliam. Also… always nice to hear you in the pileup. On SSB you have a distinctive way of calling. Very nice. 73

@F5VMJ I have no good experiences when operating in 1 person in public areas... what are You doing here, can Your repair my TV etc. :-) Not easy to handle pile-up with people around. Cross fingers that You have a chance to operate!

A bit of a predicament. Found on arrival that the apartment terrace is undergoing renovation. It’s already complicated as radio setups are not allowed now in any public areas here. Only a handful of SSB contacts for me this year as I was mostly running around like a mosquito hi hi. So, mostly just tried squeezing in FT8 sessions when possible. Because, despite my disdain for the mode, it’s ideal for holding a training session with students at the same time as being QRV. #XU7AMO #qo100 #AmateurRadio
