$SHH 0x666991B449fC1C6e42e8aa3448fF17831F155BA3 Think of it like a privacy layer on top of Base (Ethereum’s L2). Normally on-chain, every transaction is public — anyone can see who sent what to who. shh hides that. You deposit tokens in, they get “shielded,” and when you withdraw, nobody can trace the connection between the deposit and the withdrawal. The compliance twist is the interesting part. Pure privacy protocols like Tornado Cash got killed by regulators because there was zero way to distinguish a regular user from a sanctions evader. shh solves that with “Association Sets” — basically a way for a licensed provider to vouch that a withdrawal is clean, without revealing who the user is. Privacy preserved, but there’s an escape valve for compliance if needed. The L3 part just means it runs as its own chain that settles to Base, which settles to Ethereum. Cheaper and faster for users. Simple version: It’s a privacy mixer that regulators can’t easily kill, built on Base.
