This week was the end of STEAM club. We wrapped up this session by having fun with our robots. A special thank you goes out to Paige Herman for volunteering her time to help our budding scientists throughout the season.

Congratulations to these fabulous 6th grade orchestra musicians on their participation in today's 6th Grade String Fest at Wilson West Middle School!

The Life Skills students at Fleetwood Area Middle School are gaining real-world job skills through their work in the student-run coffee shop. Each Friday morning, they proudly serve smiles, warm cheer, and coffee to help staff start their day on a positive note.

How many current and former Middle Schoolers are in this cast picture? Come and support Fleetwood High School's production of The Wizard of Oz, Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, veterans, and senior citizens.

STEAM club had a great time exploring probability, pattern recognition, and strategic planning through card games. While it looked like simple fun, students were building some powerful skills along the way. Who knew a deck of cards could spark so much learning? ♥️♣️♦️♠️

What a treat! Today, students were able to see a preview of the middle school play Annie Jr. Here are a few pictures from the show. Come on out Friday or Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon to support our students and this fabulous performance!

STEAM Club took flight today! ✈️ Students built paper airplanes and explored aerodynamics. Lots of designs and high-flying fun🛫

Our 5th Grade STEAM Club dove into the fascinating world of polymers this week — and things got slimy in the best way possible!

Ms. Berkey’s ELA classes brought The City of Ember to life through creativity and collaboration!🎲🏛️ Students designed board games and museum artifacts to show their understanding of the novel’s characters, settings, and themes. A fun and meaningful way to show learning! 📚✨

Lasers, mirrors, and a whole lot of problem-solving! STEAM Club explored light and reflection by building mirror mazes and guiding laser beams to a target. Science never looked so cool!

It may be cold outside but it's Spring Picture Day at the middle school tomorrow! Don't forget to bring your warm smiling faces! 😁😁😁😁

STEAM Club Spotlight: Super Cube Shuffle!  Brains were buzzing in our 5th grade STEAM Club as students tackled the Super Cube Shuffle! Using strong visual-spatial reasoning, kids experimented, rotated, and strategized their way through cube puzzles while building persistence.

Hands-on learning in action at Tiger Drone Academy! Students practiced flight controls using simulators before taking on real drone challenges. Safety, teamwork, and STEM skills are front and center.

Strong plays and Big Cheers...and another home game on Thursday!
