🌾 In Hama, Syria, recovery is growing from the ground up. Through @FAOSyria and UK-supported Farmer Field Schools, fruit growers, olive farmers, and livestock keepers are boosting production and rebuilding their livelihoods following 14 years of conflict. 🍈 Olive yields up by 25% 🥛 Milk production up 10–15% 💰 Household incomes rising by 20% But the real impact goes beyond the numbers. One widowed farmer - once isolated and struggling - found renewed purpose through her Farmer Field Schools community. The support gave her the confidence to return to her olive grove with pride. Today, she’s not only producing more olives, but is also part of a network of local “farm experts” leading their own recovery and strengthening their small businesses. Her trees are thriving - and so is she 🌱 UK support is helping families in Hama move from vulnerability to resilience - strengthening food security and restoring livelihoods across the region. 🌱🇬🇧 #SyriaRecovery #FoodSecurity #BuildingResilience
