@geordiejosh @FCBMB22 We don’t hate Gordon however Josh is very skewed in praise for Gordon and his disdain for our other LW Harvey Barnes, who for less minutes had scored one fewer non-penalty goal and has the same number of assists in all competitions as Gordon. @FCBMB22 @bd791094 @geordiejosh I watch every Newcastle game and every Bayern game having lived in Germany. He is a more limited version of Kingsley Coman. Not as skilled and goes vanishing just as much. On his true day though, almost unplayable. Just not consistent.

I believe it’s about tactics since we play instead high press football and Gordon suits that very well, on top of that he’d more likely accept a challenger role than Barcola or Rodrygo.

@FCBMB22 @geordiejosh He works hard and covers ground but end product is left wanting a lot of the time. If he stuck to what he good at and not what he would like to be he be a lot better. Never make a number 9 though.

@FCBMB22 @geordiejosh He can run at defenders both inside and outside, just not the best when picking a pass. Capable centrally, either as a back up to Kane or someone to do his running for him (good on the press) I think he’d suit your football but he’s different to what you have

@bd791094 @geordiejosh But why would so many teams be interested in him then if he’s as limited as many are saying. I’m not saying you are wrong, just surely he can still develop into an elite winger, if surrounded by elite players.

@FCBMB22 My biggest thing would be to not listen to the vast majority of Newcastle fans, they don’t think he’s a bad player, they just dislike him. He is a superstar and he’ll thrive at Bayern and become a monster.

@DaleKing6 @geordiejosh Is he not great on the ball? The thing is we are slowly becoming the scary Bayern we used to be again, and part of that is down to Olise and Diaz being excellent on the ball, being able to confuse defenders etc. would Gordon suit our football?

Feels nice not having injury prone wingers. Robben Ribery Coman were always injured. Gnabry and Sané were usually very inconsistent or suffered minor injuries. Lucho and Olise are literally always fit and in form. So grateful because it‘s so rare
