🚨Defending Gyökeres ignores the real problem. When he can’t hold the ball or win headers, Arsenal struggle to keep possession and build attacks. The midfield can’t join in, and the team loses its rhythm. In the end, it makes the whole system weaker.

I've come to realise that people who pile on to Gyokeres after every performance generally come from these 3 extreme factions -
1 - Tacticos who think Arteta can do no wrong
2 - Fans who bought into Havertz-RvP stocks during his purple patch
3 - Fans who hated om Gyok from the start because their favourite tactico told them so
Its easy to pin the blame on 1 player which makes it so that you dont have to change your initial opinions/takes
When you also get validation from other groups regarding that opinion, it solidifies even more, your (wrong) beliefs in your own mind
You can learn to critique without hate. You can learn to hold 2 opposing ideas in your mind at the same time. You can learn to change/evolve your opinions over time
All of these things are possible. The question is are you brave enough to do it

Auba had a system designed for him to be our primary shot taker without having to worry about other CF duties Havertz forced a complete system/player shuffle to platform him at CF after he tanked horribly at LCM Gyokeres is playing in a system that platforms his weaknesses rather than his strength. And yet, he's still the highest scoring CF in the Arteta era "Flop"

He’s 10 yards clear initially and has about a yard of space when he finally sorts his feet out to get a shot off.
