Have you actually watched Julian Alvarez 🇦🇷 throughout his career? This is who he is, he is simply not a true number 9. He is more of a second striker or a 10. He does not have real box presence, even Ferran shows more presence inside the box. Just look at his heat maps from his time at River Plate, the World Cup, World Cup qualifiers, and Manchester City, it is clear. At Barcelona 🔵🔴, the role that really suits him is as a 10 behind a striker. But we already have players like Olmo and Fermin for that role lol, and he is definitely not worth 100m.

Hear me out. Stop chasing mediocres like Sorloth & Muriqi. We should go for Deniz Undav a complete striker with 23G+13A this season. He’s the closest thing to Lewandowski in terms of link-up play. He drops deep, creates chances, and finishes clinically. @NealGardner_ @MusialaEra
