@ImCollegeSoccer What’s your thought on the portal as opposed to Ju Co for eventually ending up at D1? Especially For players who are very close to D1 but maybe had an injury or a setback that has left them without an abundance of D1 options.

Don’t understand why the @CIFState treats public schools & private schools the same. A public school of 500 students shouldn’t be playing against schools with 2,000-3,000 students. Punish the small schools that work hard & reward the bigger schools that don’t.

@LTfast @PAGMETER Well said! When do we get to sit down like adults and come up with a real solution! We punish small schools who achieve and reward big schools who continue for fail their way down.

@Project86er @AndyBoog19 Well said as always! As a coach of a private school who also doesn’t recruit it is disheartening when we work hard to build a good program, to only be punished and lumped in with schools who recruit or use liberal transfer rules.

@AndyBoog19 As a coach of an organic private school program that keeps getting punished for being successful, why can't CIF do this? Public schools are based on enrollment, period. Private schools known for recruiting (no, they're not all doing it) are put in base divisions & move 👆👇 1 div

Final thought about Caruthers & the contentious competitive equity issue: As the 8 seed in D-1, were the Blue Raiders the 8th-best team in the section? Yes, at worst. I just have a problem with denying girls coming from a D-4 enrollment the chance to hang a banner in D-2 or D-3.

@AllStarGameBen Thanks for the apology. We were disappointed by the comments. We do our best to run a high quality program at a small school. We have about 100 girls in our school with no recruiting or athletic scholarships. We can only play who is in front of us and have moved up each year.
