A year ago, a group of us went to Austin to testify for legislation aimed at protecting our communities from the consequences of irresponsible bail reform. It was a long day. It was emotional. But in the end, it was successful. I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve done so far, and I’m looking forward to the next session to see how much more we can accomplish. I live in a liberal hotbed in CO, so finding Trump supporters living here can be difficult. I also have a small art gallery/studio with mostly tourist foot traffic. Finding them in the client base requires clever questioning and eggshell walking at first, because to be incorrect means you might lose a sale due to people so divided and tribal. But once you confirm, I want to tell you what I've noticed. It's pretty cool. MAGA folks are diving into their gray matter and are far better at analyzing the past 9 years than I previously thought. Miles ahead of their retarded liberal counterparts. I brought up Biden with one the other day, after this confirmation protocol. I was floored by him saying, "yeah, I don't think he was president" That's when shit got awesome. I tell you, this was like breathing fresh air for the first time in ages. We went back and forth and basically downloaded our brains into each other. Laughing the entire time. Super fun. These were boomers, man and wife. 65yo+ Gave me hope. 🙏🙏🥰🐸
