Guys as you can see - it’s not looking great atm. Pitches have been verti-drained but it’s just starting to pool. We’ll go check all sites and update you asap

On at all venues today. Car park an issue at Hightown so please be patient and follow the stewards. They will get you parked and get you out asap. Be thankful you have them… Still roadworks at Carr lane entrance Complaints from locals at BH about parking over drives and banging boots etc so please be considerate

It breaks our heart that we have to share that long term friends of the HJFL Kevin and Gemma Rimmer are preparing to do what no parent should and that is to say goodbye to their Child. Jacob has shown incredible strength throughout his battle with NKH and gastrointestinal dystonia but unfortunately the family are preparing for his final journey. All Bootle JFL Football is off on Sefton Pitches this weekend. Strictly no activity is permitted on our pitches, friendlies or training sessions. Weekend of Sunday 7th December 2025.

ALL VENUES NOW OFF - Sorry guys this is awful and we’re arguing amongst ourselves because we’re all petrified of making the wrong decision but unfortunately after remembering last weeks wrong forecast and the impact that had we cant risk it again. Will update you all re tomorrow later on

Buckley hill is off

Sorry guys but we’ve had a late pitch inspection and given the forecast is rain overnight and all morning we have called off Carr Lane & Meols Park for the girls on Sunday - It may be playable for 1 game at 9 but will be a mud bath by the 4th game… Sorry but thought best to give everyone as much notice as possible. I will try and get on them in the week. Hightown will undergo the 7am inspection if not before

Sorry guys but there is no chance at Buckley & Carr lane. They are unplayable atm and still heavy rain so those venues are off

Right…We have had to call a couple of ages off tonight; This is because we anticipate some pitches at Buckley will not be fit. We’re sorry but it’s a combination of logistical for rearranging & matched with which ages play on those pitches. We will carry out pitch inspections 7am to assess overnight rain but if you don’t hear from us it’s on!
