Christ is risen! Let us pray with the Book of Psalms and read a kathisma (approximately 7–8 psalms) each day. If we are 20 people, together we can read the entire Book of Psalms daily. If you would like to join, just DM me, and I will assign you a kathisma number to read and share with you the names of the other participants. Let us fill our hearts with the grace of the Holy Spirit and pray for the peace of the world!

All the saints had a hidden inner labor, known only to God. Saint Gabriel the Georgian, intercede with God for us, so that we too may work in secret at the cleansing of our hearts and behold God.

The Pantocrator Icon – The Lord Almighty High above, on the highest dome of the Orthodox church, where the gaze ascends toward heaven, the Pantocrator Icon greets us. Christ looks upon us with eyes full of love and authority, blessing with one hand and holding the Gospel in the other. He is the Head of the Church, the center and foundation of all Christian life. He is our Ruler – the One who steers the ship of the Church through the waves of this world, the One who holds everything in His mighty hand. Nothing happens without His will. He is the Bridegroom of the Church – the One who loved us to the end, who sacrificed Himself to make us His pure and holy bride. His love is eternal and unfailing. And above all, He is our Model – the perfect image of man according to the will of God. By looking at Him, we learn to love, to forgive, to serve, and to rise above sin. When you enter the church and lift your eyes toward the Pantocrator, remember: your life has a Center. Everything revolves around Him. Everything finds its meaning in Him. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End” (Rev. 1:8) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill among men!

Take care when you leave the Church, so that the enemy does not steal from you the peace and joy of the Holy Spirit that you received in the house of the Lord. For the unclean one cannot bear the brightness of the divine light with which you have clothed yourself, and he strives through various temptations to darken you once again.

"There is a close connection between the spoken word of the Divine Word and this Word as a Person. When His word is received with faith, through that word there enters into us the very One who speaks it - as a Person - and He grows within us as we believe, delve more deeply into His words, and become like Him, assimilating Him in the content that He communicates to us through the word. Through the word spoken by the Divine Word, the very power of His Person enters into us, shaping us according to His image. Here there is a great difference between Orthodox and Protestants. The latter separate the spoken or written word of God from the Word of God as a Person and from His power." Saint Dumitru Stăniloae

Saint Gabriel the Georgian’s mind was always fixed on God. Every time he saw someone rushing through their prayers, he would begin to mimic them: “Tra-ta-ta-ta-ta, ra-ta-ta-ta-ta…”, and say: “Are you praying or reading the newspaper? You sound like a machine gun! Prayers must be said with the fear of God and with deep reverence! Think about before Whom you stand! To Whom are you speaking? Christ is always invisibly present. Christ is in our midst!

Racovița Monastery (Rakovica) and Patriarch Pavle of Serbia Racovița Monastery, dedicated to the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel, is one of the oldest Orthodox monastic sites in Belgrade, Serbia. Originally built in the 14th century (1377–1385) during the time of Prince Lazar, it has been reconstructed several times, with its current form dating from 1862. Located about 15 km west of the capital, it serves as an important spiritual center. Here lies the tomb of Patriarch Pavle (Gojko Stojčević, 1914–2009), the 44th Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church (1990–2009), known for his humility, ascetic life, and love for the people. Often called “the living saint,” he was buried at Racovița on 19 November 2009, in accordance with his own wish. Today the monastery is a major site of pilgrimage. Here ends our pilgrimage through Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, and Macedonia. Thank you kindly for watching, and we pray to the saints whose footsteps we have followed to protect us and intercede for us, that we may reach the heavenly homeland, our true home in heaven. Christ is Risen!

Manasija Monastery (Manasea), Saint Stefan Lazarevic and His Repentance Manasija Monastery (also known as Resava), a foundation of Despot Stefan Lazarevic (1374–1427), is located near Despotovac, Serbia. Built between 1407 and 1418 in the Moravian style, it is an impressive fortress with 11 towers, dedicated to the Holy Trinity. Its exceptional frescoes and the Resava Copying School made it a major cultural center of medieval Serbia. It was originally intended as the burial place of its founder, who was later canonized as a saint (feast day: July 19 / August 1). The son of the holy Prince Lazar (martyr at Kosovo, 1389), Stefan ruled as an Ottoman vassal and was forced to fight alongside the Turks against other Christian states (Rovine 1395, Nicopolis 1396). After the victory at Ankara (1402) and receiving the title of Despot, he succeeded in freeing his country from Ottoman suzerainty. Deeply repenting for having led his army against his brothers in the faith, Stefan built Manasija on the site of a victory over the Ottomans, naming it after the Jewish King Manasseh, who had repented of his sins. His pure life, numerous church foundations, writings, and defense of Christendom transformed him into a model of a holy warrior and founder. Holy Stefan Lazarevic, pray to God for us!

Ravanica Monastery – Symbol of Serbian Faith and Sacrifice Founded by Prince Lazar Hrebeljanović between 1375 and 1381, Ravanica Monastery is the jewel of the Morava architectural style. Here rest the relics of Saint Prince Lazar, brought here after the Battle of Kosovo (1389). On the night before the battle, Lazar had a divine vision: an angel presented him with a choice between the earthly kingdom (a fleeting victory) and the heavenly kingdom (martyrdom and eternity). He chose the latter, declaring: “We die with Christ, that we may live eternally!” Today, his relics, laid in a silver reliquary, draw thousands of pilgrims. Ravanica remains a living witness to the Serbian people’s covenant with God and their spiritual victory over death. Holy Prince Lazar, pray to God for us!
