@FClousotx My only complaint with it is regarding their use of historical figures in a rather fictional storyline. In other regards it's just wonderful ... The cinematography ... The music ... (oh, Zimmer did fantastic things) The acting ... Even the reconstruction of Oliver Reed!

@DaveAnd2000 It’s the movie that put RDJ back in the A list. It’s simply a brilliant piece of work.

Speaking of "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," @FClousotx, the writing is also great - of course, that's largely Black as well, as I understand it. I just love the style of narration, unreliability spiced in and all. It's such an underrated, or even underknown, if you will, movie.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang helped Robert Downey Jr. slowly step back into Hollywood after a handful of personal issues. But working with director Shane Black brought the best out of RDJ & Val Kilmer. No one does buddy action-comedy like Black. This movie is hilarious & very rewatchable.
