I lost a friend and fellow teacher today. He took his own life and I can’t help but wonder how much of his struggle was tied to teaching conditions and lack of support. My heart hurts for his family, his students, and the community he left behind. Skol my friend.

The original CDC guidelines for opening up schools/workplaces recommended NOT opening if the school/workplace was in a community that is requiring significant mitigation.The new guidelines removed this criteria.We can't roll back safety standards just to get children into school
