JUST IN: Fort Defiance announces that Mike Gale is the new head boys basketball coach. Gale most recently coached the FDHS girls team the past two seasons but also had a lengthy tenure as the boys coach at Stuarts Draft. Gale is a 1996 FDHS alum and in the school's Hall of Fame.

#VHSL Baseball Final: Fort Defiance 3, Broadway 2. Indians scored three runs in the top of the seventh to pull off a comeback road win. Kaden Johnson tossed four innings of no-hit baseball in relief for Fort, giving up no runs and two walks while striking out seven.

#VHSL Softball Final: Fort Defiance 7, Broadway 4. Sara Turner was 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs and Abby Campbell and Calleigh Wilkerson also homered as the Indians used a five-run sixth inning to earn a non-district road win. Campbell also struck out eight in the circle.
