John read out a poem about hate crime and everyone who came got a goodie bag with lots of useful information, wristbands and badges.

We’ve been back at Wythenshawe Forum telling people how to report hate crime. We met lots of interesting people who had their own stories of hate crime and what they do if they witness or experience hate crime. #PutPeopleFirst #GMAgainstHate #NATIONALHCAW #SpreadLoveNotHate

In the afternoon they joined Stevan and Sue at Wythenshawe Forum. We were finding out what stops people from reporting hate crime at our hate crime information stand. #HCAW24

We have had a busy day today. Ann Marie and Christina were teaching first year learning disability nursing and social work students about advocacy at The University of Salford in the morning.

Teaching students is a great example of why @FDirectionsCIC won the Service User Involving Award at last night’s #SpiritOfMcr24 ceremony. #PutPeopleFirst

The students were lively, friendly, keen and welcoming. They really seemed to enjoy the communication activity and we enjoyed watching them do it!

Eric and Louise have been teaching first year learning disability nursing and social work students about communication at @SalfordUni today. It was good to see many of the people we interviewed for the course again.
