An Open House will be held November 5, 2025, at the Portland Community Center, 2000 Billy G. Webb Dr., Portland, TX. There will be two sessions from 11am –2pm & 4pm –7pm. Both Open House sessions will present the same information. You are welcome to attend either session or both.

@FERC staff has approved Cheniere’s request to enter into FERC’s Pre-filing Environmental Review Process for the planned Corpus Christi Liquefaction, LLC (CCL) Stage 4 Project and Cheniere Corpus Christi Pipeline, L.P. (CCPL) Expansion Project in San Patricio County, TX.

This can in turn cause higher electricity prices, as you may have to call on additional, more expensive resources that can meet the demand.  In extreme cases, congestion can also lead to emergency calls for the public to conserve energy or even power outages.

For example, on a very hot day, congestion may prevent power from flowing along a certain path to residents and business with heavy air conditioning loads.
