I had a crunchyroll subscription for a single month. That's it. I'm Japanese American and speak fluently both English and Japanese. One of the things that bother me about American translations is things like あの野郎 being translated as "They/Them" to be gender non-binary. It's literally "That bastard". Also seeing "God Damnit" turned into shit like 'Believe it". The mistranslations and the obvious political sneak ins was too bullshit for me to continue with the subscription.

@auramonsterr67 Story good, I'm engaged, I keep reading. Literally like an actual book, or movie or game. If good I keep going forgetting time. If not I get distracted or just straight up quit.

@picnic_sensei Pretty much nothing. Like yes this one thing is pretty insensitive but outside of this, he's like the only vn content creator outside of August hail who isn't just about the popular ones or the "if you don't know japanese you haven't actually read the thing" but a normal dude.
