Some of our staff helped out at this afternoon's food distribution at Dix Stadium. The distribution is offered on a monthly basis--the third Wednesday of every month--to support the greater Kent community thanks to a partnership between @FFHKentState and @ACRFoodbank.

After 10 years of the Campus Kitchen at Kent State University, we enter a new chapter in the fight against hunger. To better align with our mission and the work we do, we have rebranded as Flashes Fighting Hunger. Stay tuned for our social media rebrand in the coming week!

The CK in collab w/ @KentStateSusty won the 2021 Campus Race to Zero Waste competition in the “Summary of Waste Reduction Efforts” category for our case study "supporting campus and community during times of food insecurity and diverting food waste during the Covid‐19 pandemic.
