If you get damage down from one of the downtime mechs in phase 1, just venn diagram yourself instead of taking the stack and walling. Less damage on the party and you die faster. 🙂twitch.tv/itrolledu/clip…

Coupled with the fact that SCH's toolkit is also just stronger while being more versatile and the fact that it also brings Expedient, of which is probably the multifaceted it's ever been in an Ultimate fight as each use can be utilized for both mitigation and movement.

Ok a hot tip that will save you literal hours of prog. During Crystalize Time, if you put at least 30% mit during hallowed wings + rewind you can have the rest of the party stack on top of each other and just have the tanks be out. People will take extra damage but still live.

Optimizing damage is a different standpoint but in prog there's no reason you can't use something like 80% of your toolkit for the listed mechanics and 20% of your toolkit for everything in between which leads to a very lackluster feeling.

This comes at the cost of there also not being any true mit checks in between these heavy healing windows as most of the transition AOEs can be lived with just 30% + Shields which is just a Soil + Rep with an extra external like Feint, Addle, CU or whatever.

Some thoughts on the Ultimate now that I could sit on it for a little bit, mainly from a healer perspective. The fight is fun but the balancing is very off-putting especially after the balancing of Arcadion.
