Even though they're only authenticating the autograph, I don't think grading companies should slab homemade cards.
Having "Card", "Trading Card", or "Reprint Card" on the label I think gives the false impression to someone who may not know any better that it originated from a card manufacturer.
Especially if that homemade card resembles and utilizes a design used by a card manufacturer.
This homemade Mike Tyson card that uses the 1986 Topps Football design is a perfect example.
