Southbound I75 in Collier County is back OPEN! SB I75 was previosuly closed at Exit 111 due to a three vehicle fatal crash involving an impaired / wrong way driver.

State Troopers are in the process of closing I75 (Alligator Alley) due to poor visibility (smoke) at Exit 80 (SR 29) in Collier County to Exit 23 (US 27) in Broward County. Updates will be provided as needed US 27, SR 29, US 41 remain OPEN!

January is Move Over Month. Drivers are required to move over a lane for ALL VEHICLES stopped on the side of the road with lights flashing. If it's not safe to move into another lane, reduce speed to 20 mph below the posted limit (Slow to 5 mph if the limit is 20 mph or less).

Florida Law requires vehicles to MOVE OVER a lane for emergency, service, utility & disabled vehicles stopped on the side of the road, or SLOW DOWN to 20 mph below the posted speed limit!
