⚓️ HISTORICAL SENDOFF AT FARRAGUT HIGH SCHOOL 🏀 The Farragut Boys Basketball Team is on the way to the State Tournament in Murfreesboro! Huge Turnout this morning as the Admirals boarded their bus 🚌 In Farragut’s most recent trip to Murfreesboro (1983)….. -Ronald Reagan was in his first term as President -Lynn Sexton was the Ads’ Head Coach -‘Tootsie’ was the #1 movie at the Box Office -Michael Jackson’s’ ‘Billie Jean’ was the number one record on the charts -Gasoline was $1.12 per gallon at the pump -NC State pulled a major 54-52 upset over Houston to win the NCAA Men’s Basketball Title -Farragut’s Boys lost to Nashville East 72-70 in the opening round of the State Tournament. The Ads finished the season 36-1. Memphis Melrose won the State Championship @FHSbball @5StarPreps @prepxtra @West105_WFIV

Congratulations to @keeleighrogers and @CNwbasketball on winning the Region Championship and advancing to Pittsburgh and the Elite 8 of the D2 NCAA Tournament!
