BREAKING: Kyle Magee has been granted bail in the Queensland Supreme Court. Kyle was originally denied bail in the Bowen Magistrates Court after he spent 20 hours shoveling coal out of Adani's train last week. But an appeal has been successful, and Kyle will be released today.

BREAKING: Kyle Magee has been denied bail in Bowen Magistrates Court and remanded in custody until his next court date on February 8th. He was arrested after disrupting Adani's coal train for over 20 hours, and charged with four offences including, bizarrely, fraud.

QLD's cultural heritage director John Schiavo refuses to order @AdaniOnline to stop clearing land near its coal mine over concerns its not protecting culturally significant Aboriginal artefacts. Conveniently the more Adani goes on clearing land the less theres left to investigate

BREAKING: Climate activist Juliet Lamont has been given a one month suspended prison sentence for taking direct action to stop Adani's coal train. Juliet will be realeased shortly after being sentenced to one month imprisonment suspended for nine months.

Juliet Lamont was arrested yesterday stopping a train of Adani's first coal. She was denied bail due to prior record of protest actions and held in custody. This morning she pled guilty, magistrate has deferred sentencing. Prosecution is asking for jail time. Updates tomorrow.

ANOTHER ACTION: Mother and daughter blockade @AdaniOnline's first trainload of coal! For the second time this morning, two environmental activists, mother Juliet and daughter Isla, have used direct action tactics to block Adani's first trainload of coal near Bowen, QLD.

BREAKING: Activists are currently blocking @AdaniOnline's first trainload of coal! Police are in attendance near Bowen, QLD. Both activists are refusing to leave. Tammy and Andy have used steel pipes to lock themselves onto the railway that is carrying Adani's coal.

BREAKING: Sergeio, 22, has been sentenced to 12 months in prison, 6 months no parole, for direct action at the world's biggest coal port. He said: “We’re taking our future back. When Australia decides it’s going to destroy it’s people through ecocide, the people will rise up”.
