Unfortunately, El was Houndoom’s weakness. Small and cute! The scary mutt was weak to small and cute trainers and 'mons! Meat, too, but not important.
The fire type's cheek was comfortably warm to the touch.
Once one cheek had been warmed up, it was time for the other!

"Woah-!" For a moment, El thought she could be in trouble-! The way she was held and picked up But her worries quickly subsided from the nuzzling! She'd wrap her arms around the hound's neck, nuzzling back El was especially light. Easy to handle. Now giggling~ ++

Then, when El barely reached the cheek, the scary mutt couldn't contain herself anymore. . .
She picked up El by her hips to lift the trainer up to eye level! Tail wagging side to side, and her cheek rubbed up against El!

No sign of the hound being bothered? Then she'd step closer. . . And closer. . . Eventually stepping into what has to be her personal space With a casual, cool demeanor, she'd extend her hand to hold the mutt's cheek . . . Which was a bit of trouble due to height difference-

El is in more danger of being picked up and stolen away by the mutt than rattled!
Houndoom's unwavering eyes kept staring at the approaching trainer. Amused to see what El would do next ~ .

Oh? El's familiar with this. . . A stare like that can mean many things, and there's only one way to figure out whether it's a territorial stare or one of interest And that's by stepping closer! Not too fast. She wouldn't want to rattle the hound

But the problem is Houndoom’s face should be scary to look at. . .
Maybe Houndoom just needs to stare at the trainer for a long time to get scared!
Or maybe Houndoom is using that as an excuse to stare at the short, cute trainer.

All things that make the hound fierce, for sure! But that doesn't mean El can't find her attractive too, no? Her face is especially pretty, but she's also generally nice to look at

Houndoom has sharp teeth to bite, a scary howl, and an intense look in her eyes to intimidate others. Also terrifies others with something else—
But what part of Houndoom says pretty? This is very clearly a scary dog.
