In 2009, the Senate and House of Representatives passed a resolution designating Sept. 16 as #AmericanLegionDay." ⁠⁠The measure was shepherded thru the Senate by then-Sen. Olympia Snowe, who praised the Legion for its continued aid to wounded #veterans & #military families, legacy of community volunteerism & significant role in establishing important national legislation. ⁠

We would like to highlight three of our delegates from the 80th Session who will be attending the United States Merchant Marine Academy together! Connor Hoffman, Jack McGohan, and Robert Owens all attended the 80th Session and were proud citizens of Trooperville.
