Trump indictment undermines democracy because if a law is going to be enforced, it should be enforced equally and fairly across the board. The selective use of govt institutions and law enforcement to go after political or personal opponents, undermines the very essence of the rule of law, which is the foundation for our democracy.

@thehill I remember when a Putin was put on trial in Russia. The US media really played up the "Putin is doing this to distract from economic problems and prevent his rival from challenging him" angle. By contrast it really seems like they are trying to avoid that angle for Biden

I heard the National Defense Authorization Act may have money for Ukraine in it. The NDAA should only fund our military for our defense. I want to be able to vote for a good NDAA, but I will not if it funds Ukraine. We should be pushing a peace deal not funding a war.
