It was a pleasure meeting Mr. Vinay Kwatra on his maiden official visit to Bhutan as the Foreign Secretary of India. We reviewed various issues of mutual interest and also held preliminary discussions on the next Plan.@SudhakarDalela

Productive meetings with Foreign Affairs Minister @FMBhutan, Health Minister @DechenwangmoM, Education Minister @jbfrompachu and Economic Affairs Minister @BhutanMoea, and reiterated @WorldBank support to help #Bhutan build human capital and promote economic opportunities.

Welcomed Mr Roberto Troya, senior VP of WWF to Bhutan. I thanked him for his and WWF’s support to Bhutan and also discussed on our priorities as we move forward from renewable energy, water, human wildlife conflict and food security.

It is an historic moment for Bhutan to have passed the Gyalsuung (National Service) bill that will ensure the future of young Bhutanese in contributing towards the growth of the Nation. I feel blessed to be part of the progress 🙏
