Flying past the moon on a Monday is great timing, the name literally means ‘moons day’ or Dies Lunae in Latin - the days of the week that we use are all named for the sun, the moon and the planets.

@FMossotto Handling European streets with all those roundabouts and narrow roads is super impressive for the AI to figure out. American roads are way more straightforward so navigating old cities like Rome with complicated layouts is a real challenge

After years using autopilot, I was able to see Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in action on city streets in Rome.
As a passenger I was astonished by the driving smoothness, and how it handled traffic, roundabouts, pedestrians and works on the street, better than most humans.

@yesadok BTW, due to the slow evolution of regulations, Autopilot is still all we can get in Europe, and is also limited compared to the US one.

Today, a colleague and I were recalling testing Autopilot in Raleigh in 2018, before Model 3 even arrived in Europe.

@enricapesare Beating Rome's taxi drivers is a low bar 😂.
But FSD’s long-range perception and multi-object tracking yield much better flow and smoother braking. I felt more relaxed than with most human drivers.
