RATHFARNHAM CASTLE REDEVELOPMENT I have designed this Masterplan. We want to keep the Sean Keating Garden, while still providing for the cultural and retail needs of the community and meeting its broader needs.

ARTISTS BASIC INCOME Green Minister Catherine Martin has championed artists. Introducing the international groundbreaking Basic Income for Artists, weekly payments of €325. Increased Arts Councils funding €80-€140m. Established the children’s Irish language TV station Cúla4.

MAKING HOMES WARMER We are retrofitting 1,000 homes every week, half the funding provides free retrofitting to low income families. €70,000 grants are available to repurpose vacant homes. Solar panels reduce your energy costs, heat water, power your car & reducing CO2 emissions.

As a cllr I voted for over 10,000 homes. Participated in SDCC’s 2016 Dev plan, zoning land for over 30,000 homes. I have made observations on planning applications that breach Dev plans. The Green Party will always call out planning that is not in compliance with proper planning.

HOUSING DELIVERY As a TD I have legislated for and delivered Cost-Rental homes, 100% public housing on public land, renters tax relief. Abolished SHD's, Co-living & Build to Rent policies, schemes that served pension funds, not communities.

HELLFIRE CLUB In 2017 I called on SDCC to investigate the alternative location of the Dublin Mountain Gateway Visitor Centre at Orlagh House & park land grounds. I made an ABP submission calling for Universal access & conservations work allowing safe access to this historic site

EDUCATE TO LIBERATE As a former lecturer, I have an avid interest in education, I have worked with Gaelscoil Chnoc Liamhna, Tallaght Community School & Gaelscoil na Giúise securing new schools

In the next government we would endeavour to introduce State Childcare facilities, to ensure child care fees are lowered. Further to these measures we have made public transport free for under 9’s and 50% off for 18-26 year olds.

The hot school meals programme is being extended to all primary schools. And over the past 2 budgets, child care fees have be reduced by 50%.

Great to see that South Dublin Co. Co. has adopted many of the suggestions from my proposal for a more community based development of Rathfarnham Castle Stables in their latest proposals. I will continue to work with the local community and SDCC on the outstanding issues.

I worked with the Knocklyon Network, to develop a masterplan of their vision for the Dodder Valley Park. ​Today work is on going to finish the Greenway​, ​Brothers Pearse AC,​ soccer & GAA pitches, the skate park is completed, along with wonderful bridges traversing the Dodder

PUBLIC TRANSPORT - Bringing the Metro to DSW I have legislated at local and regional level for the extension of the airport metro to serve our communities. Most recently phase one of the Metro has begun, I will continue to advocate for DSW, ensuring our community is heard!

OUR BUILT HERITAGE I collaborated with the @TallaghtComCo to develop & illustrating Tamhlacht Heritage Map In 2014 I secured conservation funding for the Ballymount Gatehouse, working alongside @sdublincoco Irenie McLoughlin VOTE #1 Francis Noel Duffy For built heritage advocacy
