@Zwelinzima1 Anc is losing votes. You will be unemployed like the poor masses you claim to represent
English

Those accusing us of “defending illegal foreigners” do so not because they have ever seen us defending illegality but because they deliberately distort our positions.
1. On Stilfontein and the zama-zamas
Their accusation stems from our rejection of calls for the state to effectively starve zama-zamas, including undocumented workers, to death by sealing mines with hundreds, if not thousands, trapped underground. When we insist that the government cannot resort to extrajudicial killings, they twist this into a claim that we are “defending illegal foreigners.” Rejecting inhumanity is not defending illegality; it is defending basic human rights and the rule of law.
2. On crime and violence
They claim we are silent when zama-zamas terrorise communities. This is simply false. SAFTU has consistently condemned all forms of crime and called on the state to act decisively against perpetrators. But when presented with these statements, they ignore them because their aim is not truth but propaganda.
3. On exploitation of undocumented workers
They further allege that we are silent when employers exploit undocumented labour in sectors like agriculture, trucking, hospitality, security, and cleaning. Again, this is dishonest. SAFTU has clear national congress resolutions condemning precisely this practice, where employers deliberately use undocumented workers to undermine wages and evade labour laws. Our unions actively conduct inspections and expose these abuses, often covered by the public broadcaster. Yet this reality is conveniently ignored to win a propaganda war.
The real issue
We cannot reason with those committed to misunderstanding us.
Today, in their logic:
a) Anyone who refuses to join vigilante groups assaulting people in the streets, burning homes and vehicles, is “defending illegal foreigners.”
b) Anyone who rejects tribal chauvinism and refuses to sing divisive slogans that pit Africans against Africans is “defending illegal foreigners.”
c) Anyone who refuses to scapegoat migrants for a crisis caused by capitalism, failed policies, unemployment, poverty, and inequality is “defending illegal foreigners.”
This is not an honest debate: it is a political project rooted in xenophobia, racism, and tribalism.
What they demand is simple: that we abandon facts, principles, and join them in scapegoating the most vulnerable, just as extreme right-wing forces do globally.
We refuse.
Asizi!
We are writing an opinion in the Sowetan that will outline the crisis fuelling this atmosphere.

@Dolo0987Rn @Maps_rza You just insulted a whole race without fact or theory. Shows who is stupid
English

@EZChameleon @Maps_rza Argue with facts, not name-calling. Let us see your non30% high IQ
English

@Maps_rza You're a stinking liar, mampara.
That's all you know how to do: lie, steal, break, destroy, murder.
Nothing good comes from you. Not one thing.
English

@HomerPavlos @stats_feed You are stupid and silly. At the same tim

English

@Cthulhucachoo They underestimate real SA patriots. Even trump is sucking his thumb on his golden toilet trying to understand us. The cowards can cry or run
English

Kind of dumb to post this.
The moon does has a name.
It’s “Luna.”
All of the planets are named after Roman gods (except Uranus). Earth is “Terra.” So, the moon and sun also have Latin names, “Luna” and “Sol,” respectfully.
We usually call Earth’s moon “the moon” because it was the only known moon until 1610.
doomer@uncledoomer
kind of narcissistic to call our moon "the moon" no? theres lots of moons all over the solar system. why is our moon "the moon" when trillions of other moons could be "the moon"?
English

@DesireedeSwardt @andrea_spook So why are you fighting your fellow countrymen?
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook No, I was born here, this is my country.

A brief observation about Afrikaners resettling in the United States, written primarily for Americans to better understand the character of the people arriving in your country.🇺🇸🇿🇦
Many of us who have already made the move (years ago) are part of large, informal networks assisting new arrivals as they settle. We are often in a position to contribute meaningfully, offering carloads of supplies, helping connect people with employment, and, at times, even providing transportation or vehicles.
While resettlement agencies do provide essential basics, there are moments when urgent needs arise, especially for families with young children, where delays due to administrative processes can leave gaps. On several occasions, I’ve reached out to families and said, “I have what you need, and I can bring it to you today.” More often than not, the response is that they will first try to obtain it themselves.
This isn’t driven by pride, but by a deeply rooted sense of resourcefulness and independence. Afrikaners, by and large, are people who prefer to stand on their own feet and help themselves wherever possible. Of course, no group is without exception, but I am speaking about the overwhelming majority.
Afrikaners are eager to become self-sufficient. They seek employment quickly, secure housing, and work diligently to build stability without relying heavily on assistance. There is a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute positively.
In my experience, these are individuals who don’t come to take, they come to build, to work, and to add value. That, I believe, is an asset to the United States.
English

@limejuice88 @andrea_spook Eff is not government. Afriforum is not government. Come home and let us build together
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook Why would I sweat and bleed for a government that sings death chants towards me?
English

@limejuice88 @andrea_spook So you can come back and build the country of your birth. Don't believe Kallie Kriel. We are trying to be number 1 in the world. I believe you can make contributions here
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook Many black SA's are amazing; the real problem is that is not the majority. I am a massive net contributor to America, never taken a dime from their tax base, only have filled the coffers.
English

@limejuice88 @andrea_spook Black South Africans invented heart transplant and ear transplant. I myself contributed to knowledge. You are living on taxes from hardworking Americans because your racist ass doesn't want to coexist with people of different skin colour. Your loss
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook And they still are living in squalor. The only wealth ever generated was by the European civilizations that built a once enviable country. If you can't civilize, you can't have a civilization.
English

@limejuice88 @andrea_spook When the greatest crime against humanity committed, you mean? Natives were living in squalor before we took our destiny in our own hands
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook Building....do you really believe that? Were you even alive at the height of SA? It was more advanced than the US in the 70's and 80's. And now it's just a pile of shyte.
English

@limejuice88 @andrea_spook No one is stopping you. Us patriots are building our country. Have fun with the naked emperor
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook There's nothing left to build in the current environment. Here in America we can farm and build without being butchered. I'll build her 100 x over what I could in SA.
English

@DesireedeSwardt @andrea_spook You followed that rubbish to the tip of Africa. Once that rubbish got hold of the technology you stole from Asia and south America, you couldn't compete. Now there is a Hitler in Murica you run to him
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook BS, we hate living with rubbish and broken systems.
English

@limejuice88 @andrea_spook Cowards run. Real patriots get shyt done despite adversity. That is us natives didnt run during apartheid but we fought for our country
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook You can't build a country when the majority of its peoples would rather destroy civilization because of their hatred of whites.
English

@PsyberverseGM @andrea_spook They found a lush green country with resources. Verwoedand Malan putrified it with racist policies against natives. Stanley and Livingstone are turning in their grave
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook When Livingstone and Stanley found the Congo, it was inhabited by cannibals and Arab slavers from Zanzibar.
English

@limejuice88 @andrea_spook Traitor. You fled to America instead of building your country. Sensible people are trying to build here and you are busy running your mouth from across the continent
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook Half my family is still in SA and every time I go back, it's worse than the time before. Soon it will be indistinguishable from the rest of the failed continent.
English

@limejuice88 @andrea_spook Your opinion matters in America, not in South Africa
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook The natives seem to be doing just fine now....if you call complete decline progress.
English

@EddieGreen96162 @andrea_spook You have a BSc. I have a PhD in Science. You're not on my level
English

@FNDwriter @andrea_spook Ah yes, of course it is hard for someone with a BSc to compete against someone that could not pass grade 10.
Fact is blacks are poor because they face an eternal struggle to gain meaningful educations.
And no, social studies are not meaningful degrees.
English

@Ninjatime20 @simphiwedana Beautiful clothes for a hot and dry weather. You show you know nothing about southeastern Africa
English

Oh baby girl. And this is just my Xhosa people. Imagine if AmaZulu, vhaVenda, etc post their so called‘traditional’ clothes as you’ve done. Stop being silly

Treazy@treazyblaq
Igbo traditional attire goes so hard that when you step out, people automatically assume you’re a king. Na wetin cause the fight oh 😂
