"A big part of the experience comes from our event system. Daily and weekly live events introduce new challenges, rare fish, and unique moments that encourage players to return and see what is happening across the islands. Using Scene Graph, we were able to dynamically create mutated variations of existing fish without duplicating assets. By modifying Niagara parameters directly through Verse, we built an optimized fishing event system that can change visuals and behavior at runtime. Without Scene Graph, implementing these variations would have required significantly more assets and manual setup, making the system far less scalable."

@peter_b007 We’ve started taking action on Rule 1.9.1, and took down 5,497 islands in the first day, but it will take time to scale up over the next few weeks. There’s more to do and we’ll keep improving our approach and tooling to get there.

If Epic enforced this rule, everything would be 10 times better. There would be no spam maps, and even if you duplicated and spammed maps, you’d have zero chance of getting into Discovery. The sponsored row would also be much better without ten identical 1v1v1v1v1 maps. @FNCreate

@UlsanKropee Hey @UlsanKropee. Even though enforcement for 1.9.1 kicked off last week. We know there’s more work to do here, and we’ll also introduce new tooling in the coming weeks to prevent spam islands from being published in the first place.

Hey @FNCreate You guys where cooking taking down spam islands but there is still a problem players are spamming different titles and thumbnails to by pass the rules we need that automated tooling asap there are all the same islands same concept, hopefully u see this!!

@MisterX_fn We started enforcing rule 1.9.1 today but it’s not a light switch. Over the next few weeks you’ll still see spam islands as we roll this out and ramp up enforcement. Looking ahead we’ll also introduce new automated tooling to prevent spam islands from being published.
