@dockyardplc announced that the shipbuilding contract entered into with @OrangeMarine_ for the construction of two state-of-the-art Cable Laying Vessels has officially become effective, following the successful fulfillment of conditions precedent stipulated in the contract.

Deputy Minister of #Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Mr. Chathuranga Abeysinghe, Her Excellency Ms. Manisha Gunasekara, the Ambassador to France, and Mr. Eric Le Corre, Chairman of the France-Sri Lanka Business Council at MEDEF International and Advisor to the Chairman of the #michelin group, along with senior officials from MEDEF and the Sri Lankan embassy, Chairman of the BOI Mr. Arjuna Hearth, Director General Ms. Renuka Weerakone, and other senior officials, participated. During this event, @Investin_SL delivered a presentation highlighting key sectors and new opportunities for French investors. Among existing French investors, @OrangeMarine_ shared Sri Lanka’s success story as a shipbuilding destination and spoke about their successful manufacturing experience with Colombo Dockyard PLC.
