JUST IN: Winter Weather Advisory for Cherokee, Bartow, Floyd, Polk, Dawson, Pickens, Gordon, Chattooga, Dade, Walker, Catoosa, Whitfield, Murray, Gilmer, Fannin, Union, Towns, Lumpkin, and White Counties until 11 PM. Scattered snow showers are expected to bring pockets of brief heavy snowfall which may accumulate on grass and elevated surface. Roadways remain warm enough that impacts to travel are not expected at this time. Gusty winds and heavier snow showers may result in brief reductions in visibility as low as a quarter mile. If you see snow, send pictures!
