Who really controls White Stadium? In court, it was made clear: Boston Public Schools would have to ask permission to play football—and the professional team can say no. Public land. Public schools. But not public control. That’s not a public stadium.

High school games don’t bring 10,000 people. Professional games will. That's a completely different impact on traffic, access, and the park itself. That’s not the same use. That’s a fundamental change. Franklin Park belongs to the people. Build a fully public stadium.

Even as the Supreme Judicial Court considers whether this project is legal, crews are already building the new stadium. Public land. Pending lawsuit. But construction continues. That’s not accountability—that’s rushing past the public. Read article here: bit.ly/4swGRpK

“Everyone knows it’s not going to be the same.” The court is recognizing what communities have been saying all along: A public high school stadium is not the same as a large, shared facility with a professional team and restricted access. Different scale. Different control.

🚨 In court, the facts were laid out plainly. Public parkland. Now proposed for a private stadium + retail complex—without legislative approval. There are better ways to invest in our students—without giving up public land. Build a fully public stadium.

⚖️ 7 days until the Supreme Judicial Court hears the case on White Stadium and Franklin Park. Franklin Park is held in trust for the public. The question is simple: will it stay that way? #SaveFranklinPark

White Stadium is bigger than one project, it’s about process. We’ve heard from residents who feel like decisions are being made for them, not with them. And when communities are told, “Take this plan or get nothing,” that’s not real engagement. Boston has been here before.

🚨 We broke it down—and the “community benefits” don’t add up. Behind the headlines, most of the money isn’t going to neighborhoods—it’s going to build and operate a stadium for a private team. Watch. Share. Ask questions. #SaveFranklinPark #PublicLand #TheresStillTime
