The official word from Ice Bears President and GM Mike Murray on the cancellation of the 2019/2020 SPHL season.

The SPHL has announced the 2019-2020 season has come to an end due to the #COVIDー19 outbreak.

For the safety of our fans, players, team personnel and arena staff, the Southern Professional Hockey League today announced that due to concerns over the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, it has suspended the 2019-2020 season effective immediately.

Dwyer Tschantz has been given a one-game suspension for his takedown of Danny Cesarz in last night's game. Tschantz will miss tonight's game against Huntsville.

Knoxville holds on to beat the Macon Mayhem 2–1.

Macon has pulled their goalie with just under two minutes left in the game.

Chaos in the Coliseum. Walsh gets called for Kneeing. After the play Cesarz goes after Tschantz and gets him to the ground but Tschantz picks Cesarz up and slams him to the ice. All the penalties even out.

Knoxville comes up with a big penalty kill.

Tschantz will go to the penalty box for kneeing. Macon is on the power play with 6:30 left in the game.

Macon holds tough and kills the penalty.

Zach Urban will take a turn in the penalty box for tripping. Knoxville is on the power play.
