Cristiano Ronaldo had significantly better Serie A numbers than Ronaldo Nazário. The difference? Nazário was still in his physical prime when he played in Italy, while Cristiano didn't even arrive in Serie A until he was already in his 30s. Despite that, Ronaldo still outscored him and produced more consistently. It also makes you wonder how ridiculous Cristiano's career numbers would look if he'd been a full-time No. 9 from the very beginning instead of spending much of his early career as a winger.
