France are a great team, but they’ve had a huge geographical advantage over other countries too. They’re based in Boston and all of their 6 games have been in the north-east USA. They’ve therefore only racked up 1,695 travel miles. After our QF, England’s will be 12,127 miles 😳

@EnolaJon my grad salary is £25k, my dad informed me that his grad salary 40 years ago was £35k 🫠 granted degrees were worth more then but I went to a top 10 uni and we're in the same line of work

That’s about £74 today adjusted for inflation. More evidence (if it was needed) that the issue in itself isn’t inflation, it’s that wages in the UK haven’t gone up anywhere near as much as the costs of goods has.

@BoozerArab It’s arguably the worst possible time you could schedule a game. 85% of world population would normally either be asleep or starting work/school. But its great for US market I guess 🤷‍♂️

Look… Would I have liked to see Paraguay have “more of a go.” Absolutely. But they lost 1-0 to a France side STACKED with £100m players after 100 minutes. Side’s aren’t playing for your entertainment, they’re playing to win. This is the method they thought was best. They lost, that’s sport.

@FPLMate It will become a game of cat and mouse - if someone passes 5% they’ll start to be sold and then dip under 5% and so on

So many players are getting close to 5% selected. A lot of managers are going to end up with worse picks with no scouting bonus at this rate.

It is accidental but Mbeumo gets a big advantage from that handball, surprised that's been given.
