@utcdom Because the rest of him was also offside, not just his shirt sleeve.

How is this offside. Can’t score with your shoulder ?

So Evanilson's goal was offside by his sleeve because you can score with that part. Yet it is the same sleeve that caused this goal by Dango to be ruled a handball last season. Right, okay.

Had a geat night meeting Fletch, Jim Frevola, and loads of other great guys at the club. Then this morning, the Cherries won again, viewed at the @PLinUSA Fan Fest with my family. Cannot thank the club enough for the love and effort that they've put into this weekend.

@FPL_Natty Dembele this week - switch to Kane next week. You then get two home games.

@AeselFC Decent score last week - what would you do with this? Note: Hauge stays, I like the Bodø storyline too much. Semenyo may be on my out list too, as well as the injured players.

#UCLFantasy - Deadline thoughts: I’m currently ranked #75 overall after a mediocre first leg of the R16. Now it’s time to turn things around and get the most out of the 2 FTs. Many teams are dealing with injury/suspension concerns (Timber, Olise, Oblak, Bayern GK) and minute doubts (e.g. Kane, Semenyo). When considering transfers, I focus on teams most likely to advance (Arsenal, Madrid, Bayern). Also, I prefer players playing tonight - Tuesday - so I can get the best use of subs. Contenders: GK: Not worth spending a precious transfer DEF: Gabriel, Saliba, Hincapié, Virgil, Bayern/PSG defender MID: Saka, Raphinha, Yamal, Szoboszlai, Vinícius, Gonçalves, Fermín, Vitinha FWD: Suárez (SPO), Ekitike Most likely transfer paths: Option A Timber ➝ Saliba Olise ➝ Fermín Option B Timber ➝ Hincapié / Upamecano / Pacho Olise ➝ Saka Option C Not transferring out one of Olise or Timber as they are likely transfers in for the quarterfinals Let me know your thoughts - and good luck everyone 🍀

🇬🇭 Antoine Semenyo is proof that you should always 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 no matter how many setbacks you get: ▪️ At 14, he was rejected by Arsenal and Tottenham. ▪️ At 15, he had unsuccessful trials at Crystal Palace, Fulham and Millwall. ▪️ At 17, Bristol City took a chance on his talent. ▪️ At 18, he went on loan to Bath City. ▪️ At 19, he went on loan at Newport County. ▪️ At 20, he went on loan at Sunderland. ▪️ At 26, got his big £65M move to Manchester City.

@joaquin_roth Thanks for the thread as always! I'm keen on this, but I'm nervous about Dembele if he's got an injury (and Enrique's potential response to his statement). Kvaratskhelia+Osimhen instead of McKennie+Dembele?

And that's it for my Play-Off 1st Leg Preview. If you’ve made it this far, thank you. I genuinely appreciate everyone who takes the time to read these #UCLFantasy previews and engage week after week. What’s your approach for the 1st leg? - Heavy PSG / Inter exposure? - Spreading risk across ties? - Going aggressive early? Discuss.

Welcome to my #UCLFantasy Play-Off 1st Leg Preview. Knockout football is finally here. First legs, two-tie dynamics, managers thinking more about not losing than winning big. This is usually where Fantasy players get impatient, and where a lot of mistakes happen. Now that the league phase is over, our pool of viable options is much smaller, which means that chasing rank becomes harder, margins are thinner, and every differential cuts both ways: they can push you up fast... or punish you just as quickly if you go without the common picks. The objective for these playoffs is simple: protect the structure, minimise damage, and maintain flexibility for the return legs. Let’s break it down in this giga-thread 👇

A few essential tips for GW24 ✅ 1. Start all your Arsenal assets, Timber as well 2. Wouldn't get a Bournemouth defender now, Mane over Kroupi for me 3. Enzo and chalobah is the best Chelsea double up, if you have the luxury then only add one of Joao Pedro or palmer 4. Don't sell ekitike 5. Don't buy don't sell Thiago 6. A man united double up of Bruno and Mbeumo could be big differentials 7. Don't buy don't sell man City assets this week 8. Haaland and Bruno are the joint best captaincy options, Rice/Saka next and Gabriel after them
