De Ligt is never going to play football again, it’s all being completely hushed up by the club at the moment, Carrick doesn’t want the team being distracted in the run-in if the news breaks out. We live in a world where people generate hundreds of ai ring camera videos each day, and yet, they can never capture the internets heart the same way a true, genuinely psychotic chud, crashing out to a tiny camera in a doorbell can. I find the humanity on display very moving.

Premier League as a product is at its lowest ever point I think. Games are boring, schedule’s a shambles, barely any 3pm’s, too much money involved, players don’t care, there’s a disconnect from real fans. It shows during matches and the whole thing needs a reboot.
