Sources within government circles now claim that Treasury CS John Mbadi could be among those dropped in the next Cabinet reshuffle by President William Ruto. Kenya sometimes feels like one big live-action drama where even the plot twists arrive faster than you can process them. So this Central Police Station OCS, Chief Inspector Dishen Angoya, allegedly released 64 people who had been arrested during protests. Then later, he himself was arrested for the same kind of actions. Basically, he told others to go home and then ended up joining them. Kenyans did not take it lightly. Many saw it as a betrayal and reacted strongly. People then showed up where he was being held, and things shifted quickly. He is now out again and moving freely. Some are even praising him on the streets like he pulled off some heroic moment. It is like everyone carries a bit of that old Mau Mau spirit, no matter where they come from.

The great people of Western Kenya are good neighbours. This guy has spoken like 100 wisemen.

Do you people recall what happened between these two people politically in 2002? It is said that Raila had a secret plan to support Simon Nyachae under Ford Kenya for the presidency. Later Raila decided to support Kibaki by declaring "Kibaki tosha". This made Nyachae isolate himself and vied under Ford Kenya. Nyachae claimed it was betrayal but Raila maintained that it was the only way to unite the opposition to win against the Moi regime.
