@diogo_valada Há várias prospecções feitas no passado e divulgadas, foram concessionadas áreas para novas prospecções que caducaram em 2015. A GALP desintetessou-se por achar não haver viabilidade económica na exploração.

Em Portugal, é proibido fazer-se sequer prospecção de hidrocarbonetos (petróleo, gás), em território nacional. Ou seja, é ilegal sequer **tentar saber** o que temos de hidrocarbonetos debaixo dos nossos pés. Este país é de doidos. E pelos vistos, rico e sem dívida. Obviamente, isto não impediu o consumo de hidrocarbonetos. Simplesmente nos força a comprar os que precisamos ao Médio Oriente, ficando eles com o dinheiro em vez de nós. Nem para transição energética faz sentido.

Because Dubai and Bahrain both host US military bases. Iran is not bombing civilians. It is targeting the infrastructure that allowed the US to launch Operation Epic Fury from their soil. That is the answer nobody is saying clearly. The UAE agreed to host US forces. Bahrain is literally the home of the US Navy's 5th Fleet. When you allow your land to be used as a launchpad against someone's Supreme Leader, you become part of the conflict whether you wanted to be or not. The tragedy is that the workers, expats, and civilians of both countries never made that decision. Their governments did.
