You Had Full Access to the ACM—So Why Was the Car Crushed?
This footage takes us inside the police department—
and raises a critical question about the handling of Mustafa’s vehicle.
You can clearly see:
•The vehicle intact inside the police facility
•Investigator Davis inside the vehicle
•Direct access to the ACM (Airbag Control Module), located under the shifter
This matters because we’re told the vehicle was:
•Cut
•Crushed
•Manipulated
And one explanation given was:
to retrieve the ACM.
But if the ACM was already accessible from inside the vehicle—
why was there a need to:
•Cut the roof
•Use hydraulic tools
•Push structural components forward
•Alter the vehicle’s condition
There’s also acknowledgment that:
•The fire department cut the top of the car
•Hydraulic tools were used near the B-pillar
•The structure of the vehicle may have been altered in the process
So now the question becomes:
If access to the ACM was already available…
what justified the level of destruction done to the vehicle?
And if the vehicle was altered during that process—
how does that impact the integrity of the evidence?
