11th Illinois EU Studies Conference On Thursday April 15th and Friday April 16th, the European Union Center’s 11th EU Studies Conference, titled Community, Immunity, and the Limits of Mobility, took place over zoom.

The first presenter, PhD student Emily Swisher from @FRITUIUC, will speak about ERASMUS+, language policy, identity politics, and student mobility in a post-Brexit Europe.

Prof. Zsuzsanna Fagyal, Associate Professor of French and Head of FRIT, has been invited to lecture in a research seminar sponsored by the French and Romance Linguistics programs of the University of California Berkeley on Wednesday, May 17, 2021

Department Head of French and Italian Lectures at UC Berkeley Prof. Fagyal is scheduled to visit the Berkeley campus to give a larger lecture in person in the near future. Congratulations to Professor Fagyal!
