IP and Pattern Recognition If YouTube sees 10 different devices on the same IP address (your home Wi-Fi) watching the same video simultaneously or on a loop, it triggers a "Non-Human Behavior" flag. • The Audit: YouTube performs a "Quality Check" once a video starts getting traction (this is why you sometimes see view counts "freeze" at around 300 views). During this audit, the system looks for "spiky" traffic from a single location.  • The Purge: If the system determines the views are "Invalid Traffic," it will delete them. You might see your view count drop from 500 back down to 50 overnight.
