In her Mais lecture today, which was attended by our National Chair @MMcTagueFSB, the Chancellor underscored the important role that small businesses play in powering economic growth, particularly in the field of AI. 📺 FSB’s Paul Wilson tells @5_News that many small businesses are worried about the impact of skyrocketing energy prices. ⚡️ Small and micro businesses are vulnerable to energy shocks, as they are not covered by the protections offered to households, and do not have the buying power and hedging ability of big businesses. The Government needs to keep a close eye on the situation, and be ready to step in if needed.
