The Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDT) in partnership with National Development Agency (NDA) have trained forty-five enterprise owners on Good Governance.
Entrepreneurs from across the province representing the various sectors such as agro-processing, manufacturing, welding, furniture, arts and crafts, and textile and clothing were afforded an opportunity to exhibit their products and services.
It is intended to define the role of enterprise development in service provision to people living with disabilities to facilitate the development and implementation of an integrated and comprehensive enterprise, to name a few.

Free State tourism educators and tourism practitioners were applauded during the Free State Educators Development Programme Workshop for achieving the number spot in Tourism and Consumer Studies for the 9th year in a row in the 2025 National Senior Certificate matric results.
MEC Ketso Makume provided guidance on how to go about regarding the issues raised. He emphasized the importance of community involvement in ensuring safety of the school as well as the learners. The MEC also gave suggestions on how to raise funds to improve or develop the school.
MEC Makume donated carpet and school shoes for learners to address challenges that could be tackled immediately. It was agreed that for the state of the school to improve, all relevant stakeholders need to participate, the parents, community, government and private sector........
