What I'm claiming is that you have a fundamentally universalist religion, that accepts all comers, including people from incompatible groups. You can say it doesn't matter, and that separation can be maintained, but in practice, we see that's not true.

@AnimalMudder @itispsychomath Given the role Christianity played in, say, the Roman republic/empire, it was definitely a universalist religion early on - “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Paul wasn't vague.
