He wasn’t wrong in defending the CG signing at that time, it just aged badly, as the club did not in fact sign any other players, despite more injuries & CG has been under par.

I’m not giving up until it’s over but to go from this to winning 3 in 6 just seems like such an improbability. I can’t believe what’s happened to us. We’re genuinely the worst side in the league at the moment and that’s inconceivable
